So, we had to find out what happened when Brady got a new sister. This story helps children open their hearts to a new addition to a family, as well as, new adventures too. The lyrical rhyming is such a bonus as it helped my son with early reading skills too. We've read it several times this week and my son has even read it to our own family dog. Big hit in our home. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from A Strutt -- Beautifully written! : This adorable story shows the emotions that Brady goes through when his new little sister arrives at his home! I was immediately taken back to the day my little brothers arrived home and the emotions that I felt. Told through the eyes of an adorable labradoodle, children will be able to relate to the initial mixed feelings that they have when they have to share the love and attention of the grown ups around them. Brady soon realizes that life is much better with this sister in it and misses her when she is gone. I think it would be a wonderful book for 3 to 6 year olds who have a new sibling on the way. It would also be great for children who have a difficult time with change. Brady is a cute and relatable character who learns that he loves having a new sister when she is gone for a day and he misses her. The rhymes add to the fun. Highly recommend this book!
